Year 7 - Friendships & Connections Program

The Recipe for Success program equips Year 7 students with essential tools and strategies to navigate their transition to high school with confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of self. This pivotal year marks a time of significant change, and this program provides students with the skills they need to build solid friendships, make positive decisions, and thrive in their new school environment.

Through engaging activities, group discussions, and personal reflections, students explore the importance of building healthy relationships, developing self-worth, and embracing their unique strengths. Students also engage in team-building exercises that foster collaboration, problem-solving, and trust. By the end of the program, students will have gained practical strategies for dealing with challenges, building peer relationships, setting meaningful goals, and strengthening resilience. They will feel more prepared to contribute to a positive school culture and develop a deeper understanding of their own worth and the impact they can have on others.

The program is designed to help students create a supportive network of peers, become effective communicators, and develop a growth mindset that sets them up for future success. By the end of the day, students will leave empowered to handle high school life with confidence and purpose.
